Bought AS 15 years ago and old number is 1478 thinking of joining WBCCI and was wondering if possible to keep number billy

Give the club headquarters a call and see if it is available.

You can apply for the number when you make application on the wbcci.org website. You will also find the phone number and the person you need to speak to as well. 1478 was not used by anyone in 2015. So it extremely likely that your wish will be granted. Welcome to the club. You will need to specify the local unit you would like to join.

1478 was origanaly issued in 1958 to the Weinbergs.

My 2015 Blue Beret does not show this number as assigned. You should probably call WBCCI just to be sure.
