Yea! It was great to listen to the live broadcast and follow along in the Chat room. Here's to all of you who worked so hard on this and to all who cast votes, whatever it took! ~G

I have posted the votes cast by unit in another thread, but here it is again.
I wonder what surprises await us in Bozeman???
I will have the other thread killed....

Please do.
BTW, if 4CU had a delegate at the meeting our vote would have been
1 yes
24 no
Too bad you need to travel thousands of miles to be a real member of the club. Look for an amendment from me to change that process...

I agree with you AZ on this....something I eluded to with the function of the Regional Body.
They actually should be the proxy carriers for the Units that cannot make the meeting.
We have the technology to vote other than in person - we just need a representative to cast the vote during an official Delegate meeting. A very simple constitutional change - not like all this other hog wash..

the name change Fiasco did ONE thing - made the VOTING power of the members stand up. This year you saw the changes in many Units to allow either proxy or mail/digital voting a huge step for the voice of the member. Then it was put to practice as some of got to listen to.
1% abstentions is also a huge step -before they were lumped in!!!
Now that we have established a voice - it is time to start using the voice to better the club!!!
I know everyone has great ideas all the time when we are asked - but the key is not what we can do to make the club fun - how can we ADMINISTER the club to Have fun!

I counted 14 units that did not have a delegate present. That means that hundreds of members did not get a vote in the most important vote in the history of the club.

Please give consideration to the 4CU when it is time to renew. You will be a voting member of the club and we will have a couple of rallies that would be close enough for you to attend. Our membership fees are $14 less then being a MAL.
Pay less, get more, have fun!

Happy Days!
Now I'll re-up for next year. I hope this vote puts an end to the silly idea of SOB's in an aluminum TT club. Thanks to all who worked and took the time to vote for this very important item.
The SOB's can attend our buddy rallies.

We must be gracious winners...it is not just about SOB's
It is about those WBCCI members who presently own MOHO's and when it comes time for them to replace with "new" they will not have an airstream MOHO product to purchase.
Perhaps a Sprinter pulling a 34'er would pass as an acceptable substitution
One thing is for sure the used market will pick up real quick..... for those wanting to move from the TT style to the MOHO style

sorry to be thick but I have no idea what all this is about, being a new member; could someone explain what the issue actually is?

lots of older, well-monied members, feeling that a trailer no longer fits their lifestyle, have taken to buying Airstream motorhomes...they also seem to like to continually upgrade to brand-spankin-new one's, too.
Airstream recently announced that they will no longer be manufacturing motorhomes. If people in this demographic don't have a new MH to buy, they'll have to leave the club, as membership requires ownership of an airstream product.
So it was proposed by the International Board of Trustees that we allow anyone with a "Four Winds" motorhome to join the club...which would allow members in this demographic to stay on as members, and prevent a loss of this membership, and allow them to buy a brand new motorhome as often as they see fit.
this had to be voted on by club members at the unit level, which send representative delegates to the international rally, where the votes were presented and tallied earlier today.
