What a Great Rig!
Hey There firedog!
What a great unit. We have the same model. Ours is the center bath with rear twin beds. It works out great for us and has loads of storage. Here's wishing you many happy miles and years of pleasure.

water valve reserve tank
Thanks John, you already have,I read your thread about the valve for the reserve tank and drain plug.your thread made me more relaxed about how to handle that more likely problem in the future. I was hoping you would say Welcome, you have bought one of the best airstream in the fleet ever made, but we already know that! quote=john hd]firedog

Firedog -
She ain't THAT heavy! I have owned a '92 29-foot Excella for 4 years and find little not to like (wish I had a dinette, though). According to the A/S company website, dry weight for this trailer is 5600, hitch weight 700, and GVWR 6800 pounds.
I'm leaving on a 2500 mile trip next Monday. Hope you also get out to enjoy your new Silver Hilton soon -
Mark

firedog,
No that's not the unit we have. Our was acquired from my mother and father when they decided to stop Airstreaming.
We don't mind not having the dinette since you have enough floorspace for a dance when the table is stowed. We would like to have a little more counterspace but with the pop-up counter near the stove and the slide out tray under the microwave we can get by.

First off, congrats on the Excella!
I don't want to step on this thread, but can you point me to the post John wrote about the reserve tank?
Sounds interesting, but I couldn't find it?
Thanx, Bill
