If that is a blade grinder, I suggest getting a burr grinder... it will improve the taste of you coffee...

Blades are inconsistent (you get powder coffee and coarse in the same grind), heats the coffee too much... it is really not good for your beans

Also, grinding fresh beans, just before making the coffee, improves the taste. For me at least

We have the 2007 T1N and love our Cuisinart DCC-450BK 4-Cup Coffeemaker with Stainless-Steel Carafe. We use a small grinder and have enough coffee for two normal cups. The carafe is metal so no issues with breakage. Uses standard #2 cone filters. It has served us well for 2+ years. We keep it on the counter over the stove glass on a silicone mat to keep it from sliding. Under $50. Works for us!

WACHUKO - when you order from Sweet Maria's get a couple lbs of the Ethiopique blend (green) and roast to FC+++ Makes amazing espresso. Best shots, for me, are with a 4 to 5 day rest. That's what we have on our two week trip and it just keeps getting better.

Regarding grinders you get what you pay for as all grinders are not created equally. IMO if one truly likes there coffee they should purchase a grinder that really allows for different size grinds especially if you brew espresso and drip or even use a French Press as they all take a different grind. On the road I use my Lido hand held grinder as it allows me to accurately set the grind for the style of coffee I intend to brew. Again just my opinion

Regarding the type of bean that you like I would recommend you go to a local roaster as most are able to yo where they source their beans from and IMO more important when they roast their beans. My Roaster roasts weekly so I always know the blend and it’s freshness

that's the coffee maker we have used for 10+ years, the stainless carafe is worry free, doesn't take much room on the counter, we set it in the sink when we are traveling, wished it was 5-6 cups instead, but we continue to look and have found nothing better yet

Lido. Great grinders. Really like the owners. Very cool couple. Got a few of their products.

When I was searching for one, they were out of stock... I ended up with the Helor because, at the time, it was the only one available for shipping...

I have this for home use: Kafatek Monolith Conical. Figured that I would buy my last grinder first...

Nespresso Pixie

We use a Nespresso Pixie with a Nespresso frother. Makes great cappuccinos, lates, Americanos, straight shots. Small.

Hmmm, you convinced me. I'll give one a try. $34 on Amazon.

I can report the Cuisenart 4 cup coffee maker is a big hit!
Stainless pot, small water supply. Just right for one large cup. I put in a 16 oz. bottle of water, two scoops of coffee and stand back. Cleanup is easy too. This morning I was finishing off a bag of ground Starbucks so I threw it all in. WOW! Strong! Black!
No grounds in the bottom!

Now I may have to buy a second one for home.

A big plus with the Cuisineart is that it only draws 500W so you can use it when you're running off the inverter.

Just got the Cuisinart in the mail from Amazon. Perfect compact size and it brews exactly two 12oz cups. Can’t wait to test it out. Got the Nespresso plus Areocino for $99 and this for $30 so coffee needs are covered!

Need coffee?!?!?

Ok, if I was a coffee drinker, (I’m not) this would be very tempting. Sadly, all my batteries are for other gear...and 20 volt.

Just ordered a Pyrex 2-4 cup percolator.

Found online via Mercari, which I've never used before (I hope Mercari is trustworthy ... not really sure what Mercari is!).

I'm surprised these decades-old glass percolators can still be found. Must be tough stuff.

Can't wait to see, hear and smell it perking away in the Bambi.
