GFI problem
I have a 2012 Interstate with breakers located under the bed/back seat. There is a breaker that is labeled GFI and it has a white button to push for "test". When I was checking for something else, I pushed this test button and the breaker tripped as it should but now it won't go back on. Every time I try to turn it back on it will not stay on - just flips back to off position. The outlet above my sink does not work now and I assume this is the reason. I have a call into Interstate but have not heard back yet. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Thanks for any ideas.

Did you push the breaker all the way to the off position before you turned it back on?

Question: The Airstream Interstate owner's manual addresses both the GFCI breaker and GFCI outlets. I'm at work and my Interstate is at home, so I can't check right now, but are GFCI receptacles located on the same circuit as the GFCI breaker?
If so, the reason why you can't reset the breaker might be because you need to reset the receptacles first.
I very much doubt this is the case, but it can't hurt to check.

If you are comfortable with working on electrical issues, you could disconnect the output from that breaker and then try and reset it. The breaker could be bad.
Be sure to remove all shore power first and make sure the inverter is not working. If you do not feel confident, don't do it!

Not everyone is comfortable opening up a breaker panel; don't sweat it.
One more thing you might try, though; switch the main breaker to off, then see if the GFCI breaker will reset while the power is off.
If the GFCI breaker does reset, then see if it trips again when you switch the main breaker back on.

It sound like your gfci circuit breaker is bad. It does not make any sense that you tripped it accidentally and now it will not reset. If it will not reset, then the receptacle that it supplies power to will not work.
It may be helpful to post a picture of the gfci circuit breaker.

Turns out I had not pushed the breaker to the third position as Richard suggested earlier. Sorry guys, I am a newbie but learning. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Never apologize for being a newbie. We were all newbies once, except maybe Lewster who has been an expert since the day he was first hatched. Some of us may never graduate from being newbies, no matter how experienced we get. I suspect I fall into that category!

First, Protagonist is right -----we were all newbies once upon a time,
When all else fails-------call the service department at your dealer, get a human on the phone and ask them.
