Weight dist/ 22ft '57 and batteries

i'm picking up a 57 22' and planning a solar install. for the batteries (being the bulk of new weight installed) is it advisable to install them if in the rear as close to the axle as possible? these arent going to move around and trying to figure out placement.

i'm asking as a new user and not sure how to plan the layout, additional weight is really only fridge and other charging components.

there's been so many views on this and surprised no one has posted a recommendation-

Add weight near the axles - yes

Rule of thumb: Try to keep the tongue weight around 10% or more, but less than 15%, of the gross trailer weight when loaded to travel.

My opinion: on a trailer of that age/frame type I would try to keep the unloaded tongue weight close to 10% while balancing fixed load over/near the axel.

thanks for the advice, seems common sense but not having trailering load experience wanted to ask. adding the weight at the full rear would definitely unballance i think and seems like it would cause a lot of bounce lifting the tongue.
