I'm glad my Discovery is older and has a standard receiver hitch. I started to buy a newer LR3 with that crazy hitch setup but that was one of negative points that changed my mind.

What about the new Land Rover Discovery Sport as a tow vehicle. Their info is a bit confusing as they list the max tow rating at 4409# yet on the page showing the hitch receiver they note "fixed position tow bar tows a trailer up to 5511# load capacity". Why the discrepancy? And can I tow a airstream 22fb with it. ( base weight 3600#, loaded weight max rating 4500#). Perhaps Andrew T has an opinion?
