Blue Ox Hitches

Hey all-
We have a 19' Bambi. Towing with a 2013 M-B GL 450. We put a couple thousand miles on since buying the Bambi in Jan of 2014. Alls well on Interstates and Blue Highways. I trim or adjust the hitch after hooking up, loading the trailer and filling tanks. Our concern is we have drug the sway bars many times in mild dips, crossing gutters pulling in to gas stations etc. The M-B has the feature that raises the car on demand along with self leveling. Raise the car entering the dip lowering when puling out of dip sometimes works or lessens the severity of dragging. The process takes time and I feel creates a hazard in traffic. The hitch was installed by the Airstream dealer when we purchased the trailer. To tighten the sway bars causes the trailer to ride front high. Is there something I'm missing or did we buy the wrong hitch. We really intend to use this rig boondocking primarily and dragging the hitch kind of ruins that plan. I removed the sway bars for one section of rough dirt road and that worked. Since speeds on those surfaces are low the benefits of the antisway hitch are not missed. That solution is impractical when pulling in for gas or driving through small towns. We don't mind starting over with a different hitch if that is the fix.
I know you folks will help us figure it out.
Thanks

Can you post up some photos of this setup ? Preferably a shot straight at it from the side, down at about hitch level.
