Andersen Levelers-Anyone tried them.
I saw an an for a leveling system made by the Andersen Hitch company. Has anyone tried the Andersen 3604 Camper Levelers? http://www.amazon.com/Andersen-Mfg-3...erson+levelers.

Anyone try them with a 23D? I'm wondering if the wheel spacing is enough to allow placement.

Thee are several threads on thus subject in this section.
I have been using them for a couple of years. With my 23 I had to cut off a couple of inches on one of the Levelers to stop it from jamming up when rolling off.

I have them, but have only used once. Honestly, the stackable blocks work great for me. The fit is a little tight and I should cut an inch or two off one of them. Very solid though.

Thanks. Glad to hear they worked with modification on your 23D.
BTW.....I searched but couldn't find a thread on the subject. I've been on AirForums since 2006 and still have issues with the search function.

I have a '25 with 16" rims and Michelin tires. They did not need trimming to fit under both tires. The first time we used them was on gravel and they tended to slide on the gravel. I found some diamond plate rubber tread grippers at Harbor Freight that were cheap and perfect for adding some grip. They are self adhesive and almost the exact size of the Andersen Leveler. I had to trim about 3 inches off of the grippers, but they really help with the slipperiness of the leveler.

Anderson Levelers
I used them last season with great success after cutting off an inch of the length. That solved the wedging issues. They are super easy to use, no more guess work on how many blocks to add to the stack.

They work great, you can get exact height adjustment since it is a ramp. The tips are marked to cut if shorter is needed. They also can be used on one wheel to elevate the adjacent wheel off the ground if you have a flat. The first time I used them I forgot to remove the one between the wheels and it conveniently broke the end off right at the line, so it now fits perfectly!

Which leveler? The one between the wheels?

Anderson levelers
Just one warning. Stupidly, I leveled but forgot to CHOCK. Bad idea as I unhitched and trailer rolled back bending my weight distribution bar as the tongue jack fell off the wood holding it up.

I use this. I have the blocks, and blocks don't always get it just right.
This works great.

They work perfectly for our 30 International although a tight fit with the 16" Michelins.

Use them and swear by them more often than I swear at them. Two cautions I didn't see noted above (only one of which I learn the hard way... you can guess which): 1. Have someone watch so you don't back off of them... there is no stop to prevent it. 2. When lowering the trailer for departure with tandem axles, be sure to stop precisely, otherwise the leveler between the two tires becomes an obstacle that can get wedged between the tires.

Work so much better than the stackable units. Driving forward onto them is best. We use on 27 ft FC.

The Andersens come with chock pieces to keep that from happening. I try to remember to always use them.
