External battery cases
I have a 1976 Argosy 24 with aluminum battery compartments on either side of the rear bumper. I have not seen any pictures of similar compartment on other Argosy's, but was wondering if anyone else had. Have tried to attach a photo

I have been studying Argosy’s for many years and am confident this work was done by a previous owner.

Those were definitely add ons.

It's not really a good idea to have that much weight bouncing around back there...
