The answer to your question: why do I have to press 1 for english?

By the way it's A-L-U-M-I-N-I-U-M! Pronounced "Aloo" as in the Indian dish so popular over here in blighty. "Minnie" as in Mickey's misses
and "um" as in: what is he talking about?
