Has anyone found out any recent information on the status with the investigation, if charges are being brought against the Andersens or any other news?

I’m currently in Page Arizona and have been seeing a number of signs in different public areas along with in publications saying not to leave marks in the sandstone.

The Utah US Attorney link in Post #363 should indicate when legal charges are filed IMO.

No updates on the BLM action against Mr. Andersen, that I can find.

Per this article:

http://www.moabtimes.com/view/full_s...ts_rightcolumn

the Salt Lake City US Attorney's office would handle any prosecution, with news to appear on their PR page, perhaps, if any such criminal prosecution is commenced:

https://www.justice.gov/usao-ut/pr

From the article linked above:

" 'The U.S. Attorney’s office will likely be filing charges in the case,' Rydalch said."

Yes, more than doubled in mine too and the difference is palpable. Living in the west for 40 years, I have seen it far more than double and Denver has become a major traffic mess just like many coastal cities. I wish it were different, but I am part of the problem.

A reminder that if you visit the perp's apology page, linked earlier here, be sure to delete all cookies, history, and browsing data immediately afterwards.

Always a good practice in general, but especially after visiting enemy territory!

I was trying to be a little tongue-in-cheek . . .

Still, I don't want Andersen's cookies tracking my browsing history etc. after visiting his apology page. This is a man who allegedly asked his sons to switch plates on the vehicles?

Maybe not "enemy territory" exactly, but worthy of a quick and clean exit IMO, by deleting cookies, clearing history, and removing all Internet browsing data.

YMMV

No charges/indictments have been filed yet apparently, per the Utah US Attorney's office PR page linked in Post #363:

https://www.justice.gov/usao-ut/pr

Perusing the details of the recent legal actions linked on that page, it could be months after the graffiti was done, before an indictment comes down IMO.

I'd like him to know I went straight to buy Camcos.

.... and to know that I'm spreading the news of his crime against America to other campers.

I hope his shame and punishment last as long as his graffitti does.

Little side note - the Camcos are a bust in my opinion. No traction at all. I may try screwing in a bunch of screws as studs and try them one more time but dagnabbit - the red ones are a far superior product - why did he have to be such a jerk? [emoji35]

I agree, try some old carpet strip or foam under them.

Does the tire spin on the Camco or does the Camco slide on the ground? Or both?

A trailer tire spinning?

KISS -- wood blocks IMO.

PS -- Are these the Camco levelers?

https://www.amazon.com/Camco-44423-C.../dp/B06XPDKJN7

Do they come with a chock like the Andersen red ones?

Yes and yes. The black one is the chock, yellow the ramp. You get a pair of each.

I saw a rubber anti-slip tread for stairs that should do the trick.
