Architect Airstream project

My son-in-law, Matt, is an architect for a firm in San Francisco. He favors post modern approach to design. Matt, sometimes sends me examples of his passion which I welcome. He sent this example of which I would like to share this web site report of a 1978 Airstream interior remodel.

To clarify, my son-in-law did not renovate this coach. He found this in his searches for post modern examples. However, he is a very good architect and very capable of such a project. Right now his focus, other than his occupation, is being a great husband to our daughter and a super dad to our grandsons......otherwise I'd turn his talent upon our coach. With that said he would have to understand that my wife Lynn will 'decorate' it to a more lived in look.

Is your son the one on the web site? Or is that a different Architect?

I think the confusion is in that they are both named Matt.

Being a good husband and dad is of primary importance we agree. Our son-in-law, thankfully, is one of those as well. We sleep well at night knowing that. Warm regards.

It may be hard to one up some of the modern designs that AS has sported in recent years, but Matt Hofmann hit a grand slam with this redo. Would like to hear from him after a couple of years to see how that tiled bathroom at the back end of the AS is holding up and if there has been any weight repercussions. He had previously posted this design here on AS Forums and if i remember right, he wasn't planning extensive travel. But the clean lines and choice of materials and imagination on this are great.
