Interesting comments on the show and I wonder if this was Airstreams little promo for the new Classic coming soon?

They didn't use a Landyacht, but a Classic and from what I'm reading here, the word "Airstream" was really played up.

Just a thought ~ John

Seeing the Airstream was cool, but the movie itself was lame and predictable. Several incongruities too.

Did anyone else notice that in the first road scene, Ted Danson was driving the left lane on a blind uphill corner? It didn't look like a divided highway to me. Even if it was, he should have been in the right lane.

Then when Mary Steenbergen's character said they couldn't stay married, "because things are different back there (at home)", my wife and I burst out laughing. The obvious response would be "Let's sell the house and hit the road!"

The writers/producers missed the chance for a new series.

Maybe like a new version of Route 66. Except this time its a dysfunctional couple in an Airstream travelling the country. Might be a hit! They could even tow a cool car to spice up the plot.

new tv series

gee a reality show based on traveling with an AIRSTREAM .
thinking back to events that have happened on trips reported here, it should be fun seeing how resourcefull they would be.

You could make a tv show, hopefully not a reality show, more along the line of Seinfeld on the road traveling in an Airstream. I watched the show only to see this classic ride. My next Airstream? I guess a can't look that far as I just purchased my first.
