Replacement of outside plug.

We need to replace our outside plug. It keeps tripping the breakers. What and where are the replacements to be gotten? Will this end up being a project where I have to gut my camper just fix it? Really hoping not. Definitely original.

You should be able to pull it out from the outside. Remove the center screw and then there should be 2 screws to remove to pull the outlet out. Depending on how AS was that day you may only have a small amount of wire for slack. Replace the outlet, recommend with a water resistant one with a weather resistant outlet cover.
The outlet in there has a closed back rv type that aren't available any more for that spot so I used a standard outlet and wrapped it in heavy duty electrical tape about enough to kill a horse.

Otherwise to get to it from the back you'll have to remove wheel well cover and anything between you and said ability to remove the wheel well cover.
