Repairing my broken entry lock.

To make this short and to the point. I have ordered and received the parts to repair the lock. The stud on the end of the locking key cylinder broke off plus the inside locking stud also broke. Like I said I have the parts to repair this except for one problem when I took the lock apart two small Springs and a ball bearing fell out of the lock and I don't know where they came from. The locking shift will not spring back as it did before must be where one of the springs go. Not sure where to put this spring. There is also a ball bearing and another very small spring what the heck is this all about.

It's been sometime since I was on this forum not sure how to post any pictures. Any help would be appreciated I could email you pictures if needed.

Almost always sunny here unless there is a hurricane bearing down on you. And then it's time to hook up the burb and roll. So far I've been very lucky.

Door Lock Parts

If this is a KT lock their is a allen set screw on the end next to the latch rod that the spring and ball bearing goes into after you slide the lock bar in place that allows the lock to lock or unlock then replace the allen set screw. The only other spring goes on the latch rod, it is bigger. I just took my spare apart to verify this. Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you for getting back to me about the lock. I finally got back to it yesterday. Your advice worked great. I never would have been able to do this on my own. The other spring must have come out of the broken lock. So with some modification to the parts with some fitting putting together and taking apart. It now works great.
Thank You Again.
