Looking For Floor Trim Suggestions

I am putting a new laminate wood floating floor in our 1987 Excella 1000 and I am looking for suggestions on what trim material to use around the radius on the rear of the coach. Our trailer has a rear door in the bedroom and the bed is perpendicular to the road side of the coach. So I have a radius that I am going to have to trim around. Being a floating floor the flooring must remain 3/8" from the wall. I am using a stained shoe molding in the rest of the coach. As of yet I haven't come up with anything that suits my taste. Does anybody have any suggestions??? I have attached and interior shot with the carpeting ripped out and ready for the floating floor. I will post more pictures as the work progresses.

How about an ivory colored 2" crown molding?

Couple ideas for you: I know that rubber-composite "trim" is made, I've used the casing for curved windows in homes. I would think rubber base shoe would be available somewhere- maybe do a google search for it. You could also make a steam-box, for steaming and then bending your wood base shoe. Another choice that might work is to check out the "fake" base shoe from Home Depot, sold in the aisle where they sell the laminate flooring. I seem to remember it being fairly flexible. Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up going with a "plastic" shoe molding found at Home Depot, it is very flexible and will conform nicely to the radius in the bedroom. My attempts to work on the trailer last weekend were thwarted by the weather. I did not want to be tracking snow and water in and out of the trailer since I have most of the floor down. It is 99% complete, all that is left is a few planks in the bedroom and the molding. I should have it completed this weekend, that is if mother nature cooperates.

Here are a few pictures of the almost completed project. I am pretty pleased with how it came out. The saving grace in this project was an electric undercut saw rented from Home Depot for a day.

That really looks great. What type of floor did you use?

Thanks, it is a laminate wood floating flooring product by a company called Wilsonart. It is a tap-lock system so there is no gluing. It went together pretty easy, but I am pretty sure the planks will never separate. The color is one of the cherries, which one it is I don't remember. The best part about the floor is it was basically "free". I used what was leftover from when we remodeled the interior of our non-mobile home

Consider (if you haven't) using a sealer at/under the threashold trim to keep tracked water from seeping down into the flooring or sub-floor.
