hello,
have a 2003 bambi and of late had a problem with the fridge. while parked in my driveway and the fridge running on "gas" it will work fine but after 2 days the gas will shut off and the fridge stops running. last night when this happened again i put the fridge on "AC" but it never came on. the bambi sits fairly level but not completely. the "not level" is noticeable but not real bad.
for those of you in the know, what are your opinions, concerns, comments?
thanks,
david in so cal

yes, the 12 volt house juice is fine. in fact i often run on batteries only. i did a service on them last month and charge frequently with the 20 amp cord.
QUOTE=87MH]Have you checked the condition of the house battery?
The logic board of the Dometic uses 12 volts to run the whole thing.
Therefore, no 12 volt (13.6 volt), no cool adult beverage.[/QUOTE]

The Bambi of 2003 (and all so far) don't have the same logic boards that some of the other Dometics have. Our 2003 didn't and all that I have seen so far don't. They all so far have had full manual controls for that size fridge.
I'd make sure that the flu is clean, and that the wind flame protector is still in it's proper position as well as any thermocouple as it is a manual type system. If you have to hold the gas in and press an ignitor, it's manual and should have some sort of thermocouple that keeps the gas going to the burner.
