'bad' key!?

i have a 77 29' land yacht. i have access through the main door. however, an additional key was provided - in getting access to the various panels on the exterior of the as.

the key fits nicely but... won't turn. so either i have a 'bad' key or i'm missing something.

cheers!

If the key doesn't work for any of the other outside door panels, no worries. Out of Doors Mart sells them.

Airstream used a very small number of access compartment key over the years.

Typically, when the correct key for a give year doesn't work, then the previous owners had the tumbler keying changed.

For a given year, every Airstream trailer made has the same access compartment keys.

The entrance door lock key, is the only key that different between trailers, other than we have been told that there are only 200 different keys, for a given entrance door lock.
