Anyone plumbed in Black flush through vent?

I've seen the retrofit drill and install a flush system, but not sure its for me. Although I do like the idea of being able to flush & fill the black tank directly from outside the coach.

As I plan my interior build out, my thought is to plumb in a T fitting into the vent stack, right by my water heater before it goes into the floor. If I adapt the vent to a flush/ fill water line, I can install another city inlet on the side of the trailer for flushing. (or I could just run a hose into the truck hatch and attach that way)

Since the vent is at the back of the tank, I thought this would be perfect place to flush water from.

I could access the connection inside the water heater compartment so it wouldnt be closed up permanently in the wall if it didnt work as intended, leaked, etc.

Any thoughts on this? Good or bad? Here's some old pics from when I tore everything out:

You may run into one problem. As you have water coming in through the T-fitting, any air trapped in the tank has nowhere to go because water is running in where the air would otherwise run out.

Good point- hadnt thought of that.

Although I'm thinking that it would flow fine with plenty of room in the pipe for air to breathe and/or burp since I'd be feeding max 50psi through 1/2" or 5/8" water line adapter into the much larger 1.5" vent pipe.

Am I thinking right? In other words, I'm not taking up all the space in the vent pipe.

Also, I would likely have drain valve open alot of the time too- yes?

Anyone else have thoughts or experience with Black flush? Thoughts on this idea? Is this a feature that I'll be glad I have?

Need a vacuum breaker after the hose fitting to prevent back flow into the water supply...a necessary evil.

Yes, I think you'll be glad you did it.
I added a spray type flusher to my black tank and I have never had any odor or dumping problems. Never use any chemicals either.

Ditto re: Vacuum breaker is a definite requirement.

I use one of these Flush King - Valterra FK-01 - Sewer Flushing - Camping World

Allows you to back flush with gray water, hose water and add some water till next flush. Clear pipe allows you to see what's coming out so you know when you're done!
