1963 Safari Black water tank, the continuing saga

Hi All,

I posted a question in January about my balck water tank and what to do with it.

Here's the post

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f444...ghlight=safari

So, I've repaired the cracks in the bottom and fabed a plate similar to what Uwe did and that is going fine. Just a little cleanup and I'm done with that portion. Now fro the top side.

The toilet is an original porceline type. When I removed it, the bolts that hold it in place decided to break off very easily. Must be all the use and leaks throughout the years. My dilema now is what to do.

I plan to replace the toilet. If anyone has recommendations, they are welcomed. Next is how to install the toilet. I was kinda hoping I could just take out the broken studs with a generous application of oil and muscle. That isn't working. any suggestions?

I suppose I could just drill n fill the holes then check bolt patterns, etc.

Thanks in advance
Steve
