1954 A/S Sov. water problems.

This air stream has not been used for camping since restored 8 years ago. We have replaced tires (dry rotted), installed new battery (just because), filled water tank, and installed garden hose to water system. We have good water flow (hot and cold) at the kitchen sink but only a trickle at the bathroom sink (not enough flow to tell if it gets hot), very little flow at shower and same for toilet and no flow at toilet spray handle. I have tried for a very long time (maybe 20 minuets ) to leave the valves open at bathroom sink, shower, and toilet. still not a good flow just a trickle. Any ideas?

First step: Pull the strainer/aeration part in the slow faucets and clean them. Flush the lines thoroughly before you reinstall them.
If you can’t get good flow before you reinstall the strainer, then it might be the valve innards have gone bad.
Minerals build up and clog things when the AS is not used, or there is debris or sediment in the water system.

After the screens are checked, you may want to blow out the lines with air. May be some spider web build up in the faucet area.
Nacadoches is a neat town. Spent a few weeks every summer in the 50s at my grandparents home on Starr Ave. Good luck on the water flow, Bubba

Thanks for the info and Fredricksberg is the place to be in the hill country. I wish Nacogdoches would do what your city has done. Those shops and such downtown are sooooo cool.

Well i had a bad night last night thinking of all the possible causes for this repair. But after seeking information and getting good advise i tackled the fossett screens and BADA BOOM FIXED! Thank all of you for the good information. I was so worried that i had the only A/S in the world that had that problem. (must be from working on exotic cars for most of my life) But the A/S will be hitting the road next week for parts unknown. As the owner said "Where ever the truck is pointed in the morning is the direction i will take". Thanks again all .
