Common A/F positions;

1. It is best to tow at no more than 60 or 65 mph tops.

2. You need a diesel to scale any grade you may encounter at 85 mph.

1. I agree

2. This cannot occur if you obey number 1.

I am a firm believer in "Better Safe than Sorry"

I have proven many times, however, that you can be both safe and sorry. This usually causes me to wonder if I would still be sorry, if I had not been safe. I usually decide I would have had more fun. If you're going to sorry anyway, Go for it.

Challenge:

Figure out what I just said. If you do let me know.

1. Tru dat... Especially with a 34’...
2. Dunno, never towed at 85. Didn’t want to push my luck... can you imagine a towin’ blowout at 85? Sheesh!

Nope, don't think so. I ran with scissors when I was a kid and even in to young adulthood. Not a hint of being sorry and what a thrill.
Not so much now as it is hard to shuffle along with my walker while holding my beer, cigarette...and scissors. I would be sorry if I spilt the beer so I guess you are somewhat right.

That is a sneaky and silly syllogism.

I used to be syllogist. However, I once got trapped in a circular syllogism and nearly exploded.

Since that near death experience, I have converted to Twistorism. (A belief system I invented based on twistor theory). Since I don't understand any of it, I am at peace with no inner conflicts.

Try arguing with that!!!

No, it isn't. A syllogism requires a conclusion drawn from TWO premises that each share a word with the conclusion. "This is the argue thread. No agreement allowed." is not a syllogism.

"This is the argue thread. Agreeing is not arguing. Therefore you cannot agree on the argue thread." is a syllogism.

That is a thinly veiled challenge and poor attempt at double reverse psychology. You want me to believe your provocation is motivated by convincing me, in spite of words to the contrary, you really don't want me to engage you in argument. The fact of the matter is you really do want me to argue with you. Well, I refuse!

Ways to argue while agreeing:

1. Damning with faint praise
2. Agree with the premise, and then assert so many qualifiers that the original premise becomes a practical impossibility.
3. The political agreement: nod and smile at the person and then answer a totally different question than the one that was posed.
4. Anytime a woman agrees by saying "Fine!"

So yes, I agree with you.

Mine is only ever largest in December when I grow it out for the full Santa effect, but even then there are usually beards bigger than mine, just not as many.

Good thing I don't suffer from follicle envy!

As in, the answer might have been...........

It's Donald Trump, not Donald Stump?

The long and short of 'it'... really, either way, they are discussing, after all, a prick...
