Spotted at Vintage Camper Rally in WI.
We spent last weekend at a Vintage Camper Rally in Montello, Wisconsin. All the campers were open to the public on Saturday and we had over 100 visitors to the Rivetaira. There were only about 30 vintagers there and it is open to any vintage. From Tear Drops to Spartan Mansions. People came from Canada to S. Carolina.
It was our second year and we had a ball. This was only the third annual one they've had.
Some of those Spartans are just beautiful. Does anyone know thier history?

How fun! Who hosted it? I love seeing vintage trailers other than Airstreams. Nothing wrong with AS of course, it's just nice to have variety!

Gwen...FANX.....
Good Evenin 2 U Gwen...
WOW...Fanx a heap 4 puttin the pics on the Forum, over here in the UK, we don't C anything like that, so I personaly appreciate seein pics of the 'Olde era...
I'm realy pleased that some people actualy continue 2 uphold one of America's Icons, & actualy USE these wonderful pieces of mobile art, I jus Luv 2 c 'em, I truely do, there is a certain air of grace about them, so Majestic, so independant & easily taken in, I R mystified at those who purchase such icons, & store them away.....it's a cryin shame, Every time My family & I visit Orlando, We always visit Old Town Saturday nite Cruise, ALL those REAL Vehicles...My Son & I, Mark...jus snail speed around, takin 'em all in, talkin with thier very proud owners, & many a time actualy got 2 sit in a few of 'em...Absolutely delightful indeed...a real treasure 2 one's eyes....
They say that U can't beat the 'Old One's...LOL...Chris.....

Gwen,
The Spartans were made for many years in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
There's a large club, &following for these well made units~
This is most likely your best source for "History" of the make. ciao
