Low class trailer cuisine....

I ran across this advertisement and thought other members might get a smile...

Collecting Low-Class Cuisine Ideas

I am trying to find as many trailer park cuisine, church potluck, low-rent recipes as I can.

If you have a recipe you would like to add to my ever growing collection, I sure would love to have it.

Thanks.

A few years ago some one thoughtfully gave nme a copy of "White trash Cooking"... it has favorites in it like Best Mayo Sandwich, Possum Stew and the ever important Fruit Coctail Cobbler - for fancy company dinners....

I suspect you'll find everything you need in this book - or the compainion book, white trash II....

The sad part is I didn't realize I was white trash until someone told me not everyone grew up eating mayo sandwiches!

Oh stop it -- don't even kid about that! I was in a seminar once (well it's kind of technical) where a guy was there from Borden's. He was doing some research with a scanning electron microscope and said he was analyzing the fat structures in mayo. He then told us all it was something on the order of 96% fat. I haven't touched it since then... Yuck!

Well, we didn't actually use mayo. We're lower upper middle class, so we used Miracle Whip

Chris, maple syrup with pecan pieces is pretty good on ice cream, although I don't think it would go well with fries...
