WXRT, Chicago's last AOR station, traditionally plays this classic every Thanksgiving morning.
Bad atmospherics this morning have me listening on-line, and checking in here.
This Anti War tune reminds me to give thanks that my kid returned unharmed last Saturday from his 4th combat tour.
Unfortunatly, some things never seem to change.

Best wishes to all,
Tom

Tom - Every day, in most every way, I am becoming more & more aware of & thankful for the women & men who are out there in horrible danger every day for the sake of Freedom, and not just my freedom but in the larger case the freedom of the civilized world.

I'd appreciate it if you'd share my thanks with your son. If I was rich, I'd tell him to go pick choose his favorite AS, on my account. Unfortuantely . . . .
But the sentiment is still there.

Yer quite the young pup there, Ed.

Thanks for the reminder Shari! The best part is years of enjoyment making my son cringe on the way to family Thanksgiving.

Listened to it and it will on again at noon. Love it. The young folks at work didn't quite understand but they humored us.
