I'm selling my baby!!!

Okay.....I've finally made the decision.....It makes no sense for me to own two Airstreams, as I can't use both at once. I've found that I prefer using my little one, as I usually camp/travel by myself, and my kids will both be in college next year. I never thought I would part with my beloved "Two Ton Tillie"; a 1967, lovingly-restored/renovated 26' Overlander. I think the time has come, though. (We still don't know how we are going to pay for college next year!)

I've added a couple of pictures as attachments.

I am going to sell this with everything: Sunbrella custom awning and poles, canvas hand-painted ground cover, vintage folding chairs, bedding, melmac vintage dishes, pots and pans, towels, blue boy, flamingo lights, weight distribution hitch, etc, etc.

I figure if it was someone new to trailering, I would give them some lessons, and even deliver the trailer.

Any suggestions as to the best way to market it???? This is a difficult thing for me to do, and I want to find the buyer who will love it as I do.

Will you post interior pictures or a link too please? It looks beautiful. I am just curious but another might fall deeply in lust or love at first sight.

Carol--Thanks for your interest......For some reason I didn't have any current interior pictures on this computer......This posting was kind of "spur of the moment" for me. I will post them tomorrow!

How about a classified ad on our sister site?

Good luck with your sale ~

I'm thinking: you never know when you might want to bring "the one with its own potty".
Some of the more rustic venues can be a bit...sparse, in terms of public facilities.

Wow!! this is big news!! I want it!!! But I have two already. I would need to sell both to get yours and trying to just get rid of one has been problematic.

Anyway, to anyone interested, you will get a beautiful, well kept, very well loved trailer.

Ha Ha!!!! Yes, I will miss my bathroom if I sell it; the flushing toilet, and the great bath tub.......oh well......

It's reckless statements like this that get some of us in trouble with the significant other. Please speak nonsense like this in private, never in public where the wrong eyes could see it and misinterpret it as factual.

LOL!!! You know that I will just buy another to fix up!!!! I seem to be really leaning toward the oldies, and maybe even one of those "sob" mansions to set up in some exotic spot, so I can visit it and enjoy........

My significant other would not be too happy if I bought a third....but downsizing to one, and then back up to two would be okay....... {Just don't tell anyone that might be my plan....}

I finally did my spring cleaning, and took a bunch of interior pics. After cleaning, I am thinking....."why am I considering selling this?"

I've attached a couple of pictures, and here is the link to the rest of the pictures on snapfish:

All you have to do is enter your email as your account name and make up a password, there are no strings attached, unless you want to purchase pictures!

get a PurePhoto.com account, no registration for your viewers and full resolution shots. I am about to purchase an airstream but am worried about getting an older one. I took an RV class today which was great but freaked me out how much you have to know. Plus there is a lot of pink...which my daughter will love but me, not sure how long I'll last with that ;-) Anyway, would love to see more pics...
