Christmas Flamingos at Home Depot

Saw these at HD yesterday and had to buy a set. They also had a stuffed singing flamingo which I also purchased.

Oh, lordy. May have to go get those! Will they go with our blue Moose? Menards also had a pink flamingo Christmas lawn ornament but not near as cute.

Our local Home Depot and Target did not have these particular flamingos. Target had one not as cute. We can order them on-line from Home Depot though with FREE SHIPPING! I suspect my BGF will not be visiting me over Christmas as she has threatened not to if I ever put pink flamingos in the front yard.....

My daughter just rolled her eyes when I showed it to her.....Party pooper! I think they would look so cute by the blow-up Airstream with Santa popping out the door!

I think the term I'll use is "campy" as in they look real "campy", not to be confused with "camping". Some people (such as my BGF) might classify them as "crass" or "trashy", but I wouldn't go that far... Now the original stick and plastic ones I don't think I would want to use. However they have their uses also such as keeping BGFs away. Might work for political parties also. And right now I'd do just about ANYTHING to make that happen! Might have to do some research...

Oh, now those look kool! Lets see: pink flamingos, a moose and palm trees in the front yard. I think the neighbors would probably have us committed.

Looks like we'll have quadruplets at Picacho Peak. Babs picked some up over the weekend.

Just got the first— of undoubtedly many— unsolicited Christmas catalogs in the mail for this holiday season. This one has a solar-powered lighted flamingo:

Solar Powered Light-Up Flamingo

I personally don't understand the whole flamingo thing— it's just one more thing to schlep around when storage space in my Airstream is already at a premium— but for those that like 'em, check it out.

I like this one, but it isn't tacky enough. It needs something around the bare bulb in the middle. Maybe a small disco ball.

Put up Christmas lights Thanksgiving afternoon while it was still almost 60 degrees. Set these two darlings up right before it started snowing. They do go really well with our white moose. We like 'em. As Kay said before; campy, but cute.
