Anyone speak French?

Hi, I was wondering if there is anyone on here that might be able to help a man from France that wants to buy an Airstream here in the states, with translation? He can write pretty good in English but needs someone who can help him with finding a shipping company to get the unit from Tn to NC and then over to him. He doesnt know anyone here in the states and has been talking to me via email but he really wants to be able to ask the owner some questions. If you can help, please send me an email that I can forward to him. Thanks in advance for any help!!

French translation

I've used the website freetranslations.com several times in business situations. The translations are kinda funny sometimes but you can manage to figure out the general ideas. Good luck.....or "bon chance" !

freetranslations works the best out of any I have tried.

I did take French for 5 years, but can't recall alot of it.

We do have a few members in France or from la France, so stand up and help this man!

How about Bruno? He's from France and speaks English. He bought his American dream Airstream here in the states and brought it back to France. I am sure he would be eager to help. He is a very nice guy.

Thanks everyone. I did contact Bruno and he talked to him. The guy actually called me today and we understood one another pretty good. He is going to buy the Sovereign, now he is trying to find someone to tow it to Charleston and then it will be shipped from there. Any ideas?

Don't know those locations or the members in the vacinity off hand. Perhaps you could contact the WBCCI units in the areas or perhaps find some familar names that may also be on the forums from the web pages. Did you do a search on the members map here on the forums? or the inspectors list? Any rallies on the calendar in the general area? Perhaps you could post there or grab some leads to members. Perhaps run through the members list for locations.

You could also try Uship.

I got a deal for $500 to ship my safari to Michigan from Missouri.

Has he tried the European dealerships? It would seem to be easier, but I'd understand if that wasn't what he wanted to do.
