Here is yet another of the VW conversion. This one does look nice, but I continue to wonder about the engine power to push it around.
If I sound like a former microbus owner it is for a good reason.

Looks like the 1948 Flxible in the movie RV. I had heard that Jeff Daniels owned it but on IMDB it just says he arrived on set in his own RV and they cancelled the driving lessons. There's a museum that says they have the bus.

But you gotta love the sky deck and umbrella.
Actually a pretty good rig for going to the races.

This is a one-off product. I think it's on an early 2000's Ford E450 chassis with the V-10 engine. Airstream representatives recently alluded to an upcoming new motorhome that will be suitable for long-term travel - presumably something larger than the current 24 foot Interstates. Perhaps the motorhome seen in these pictures you posted is a hint of things to come.
