Question Exhaust on Kohler generator

I have recently purchased a 310 1984 airstream in the U.K. It is very original and has a working Kohler generater which is a 7cm21-rv powered by a k582qs. The problem I gave is that it has no silencer/muffler just 2 pipes that come out through the bottom of the floor, please could anyone tell me what should be on the end of these piper, i.e. 2 small round silencers, or one big silencer with a pipe ? or in an ideal world could someone show me a picture of one. Thanks for reading this

Hi Adrian...
I have the same unit in my 345 and am just revamping it, so getting familiar with it.
The silencer is a single unit, with the 2 up-pipes that slip OVER the pipes you talk about, and are clamped.
The outlet is rearward and centered, has a short pipe that drops into a spark arrester, that is needed or required over here..

This is what it should look like installed...
The support bar attaches to a bolt on the crank case.

Or this one before I cleaned it up, note the spark arrester mounted downstream...

Or if you look up my thread titles Manuals, you will find a link to Smokestak, and in the Kohler section, you will find the service and instaltion manual, which has great diagrams!
PM me if you have any trouble or questions!
