Air relief valve solenoid

This is part of the air suspension system, I understand that it is supposed to relieve pressure downstream from the compressor when the compressor shuts off. Mine has decided to work overtime and release pressure all the time. I plugged the outlet with a screw and plumbers tape today to keep the compressor from having to run most of the time. Has anyone replaced the part? Part number and source? Does my new Viair compressor really need it?

You should be able to remove it out of the system. My viair compressor does not require it. The pressure relief is built into the compressor.
