the p 30 hoses do not match up as the lower hose is almost a cork screw. see pic

Can't Find one right now, but I am pretty sure that I have seen threads where others got around this by buying an accordion type hose of the correct length and letting it bend itself into shape.

The top and bottom hoses for the vertical radiator are no longer available. You won't find them anywhere. I found a top hose that was almost an exact replacement and only required about 2 inches cut off on the thermostat side. I don't remember the part number, but you can find it on the thread "dadstoy". I'll look when I get the chance. I was lucky enough to have a brand new lower hose I all the parts my dad had. There are one or two other owners here that have found acceptable alternatives to the original lower hose.

The upper hose I used is the Gates 22086 and I cut a few inches off the thermostat end to fit properly.

Radiator Hose Location Help Needed

Do the following Google search and you will find most the the posts about the hoses. If I remember correctly a couple others have found a solution for the lower hose. Whatever you find for the lower hose, make sure you check to see that the hose at the water pump end doesn't come into contact with the belt that passes right by it. If I push my hose all the way onto the water pump it will contact the belt and will cut the hose. I have very little clearance between the two, but that is fine and it all works great.

I'm also assuming you have the Chevy 454...but I'm guessing most 310's are diesel.

I have a 1976 Argosy (built on the P30) and had to replace my lower. As far as I could tell there were no [cheap] hoses out there for it. I bought the flexible accordion style hose of the correct length and its worked just fine. Your local auto parts store should be able to get one.

Also you can google "universal radiator hose" and "radiator hose adapters". It will take some patience but you may find something that works for you.
