buying 30ft Land Yacht

I have been looking for years and have finally decided to take the plunge and buy a 2004 30ft land yacht. I thought it best to check the people who own them. I have no experience with a motor home. I trailed a Jayco 27 ft for many years with great memories. So, I would like to know which options you guy recommend and which to avoid. Any tips to start up housekeeping, or tips on setup of the new coach? I appreciate anything you can warn me about or speak favorably too.

Buy a slightly used one from a private party. Listening on here to the stories of dealer rip-offs scares me away from RV dealers, and the depreciation scares me away from a new one.

We bought a 1999 Land Yacht one year ago and we love it. It is a good quality motor home.
