Dimensions Need Help

Anyone know the height of their vintage GT?
My garage clearance is only 9 ft...

According to airstream.com document archives, it is 99 inches. I would assume that is with out A/C. Also different tires from original may change that.

This specshows 106 (with or without A/C?)...

GT height

My '62 is 8'4" tall, just a little too tall to get into my garage, bummer.
Might be a bit of a squeaker for you, depending what's on the roof, but yours just might fit with a nine foot door.

Your bio shows you have a 17'.
The document you linked to is for a 20'.
I went to airstream.com and selected document archives and found a 1964 Bambi 17'

Oh I see. You did not explain that in your previous posts. I was confused. I do confuse easily. 😁 My bad. Just thought I was helping.


I do believe the 65's did not come with A/C so the 106 is most likely without.
106 may just make it. If newer tires are smaller in dia. or if you let some air out. Not to be funny, I know a guy who did that with his SOB every time he pulled it in and out of his garage.
