JUST put deposit down on 2018 AS!!!

International Serenity 25' FB Twin. Only took us 2 years of shopping! The 2 weeks that we rented an AS and TV last month (Sequoia and Death Valley) was money well spent! Found out we love camping and that Airstream is the best product and holds its value best. I want to thank all here on the Forum who answered ALL of my inquiries from the solar questions to the #AC units questions and a few in between. BTW, I ordered the single AC package and the 2 roof solar panels and the awning package but the manual (main) awning. Since we don't plan to camp in the Everglades in August and the AS has 4" of roof insulation, we went with the one AC unit. I got real CLARITY from all of you and it helped me move forward with the (correct, for us) purchase. Thanks.

Congrats! Let us know how the Everglades trip goes, we are planning on being there one year and would love to hear about your adventures! The trailer will look great with those new awnings out! Safe travels.

Delivery is in July but I chose to pick it up in Albany N.Y. as this Orlando dealership has a store there and I will be in Chicago visiting my daughter. Plan to fly my wife in and spend a week in NY State or VT or Maine or all 3. Will make my way home to Florida, no rush as I will be towing my 2nd home!!!!

Congratulations! I hope that your time Airstreaming will be everything you hope for and then some. The years camping have been wonderful for us, so far. Hopefully, we're not done yet. Your Airstream will become a member of the family. They all seem to have their own personality. You made a great choice!

Differences between Serenity 25FB Twin vs 25 Twin?

I'm studying the configurations of the International Serenity 25FB Twin versus the Serenity 25 Twin (in rear). I noticed the lounge / bed in the FB version is 66" versus 52" in the rear twin. The beds are the same length in both, the bath, showers and galleys look the same as well, so where do they gain the extra length? I do see that the wardrobe in the bedroom is "Hanging Wardrobe" for the 25FB and "Wardrobe w/Drawers" for the 25' rear twin. However, I still don't see where they came up with 14" more lounge bed space. What am I missing? Thanks so much for any enlightenment. Also - why do people like the beds in front versus the back of the trailer. It doesn't feel "natural" to me, having owned an Airstream before with bed in back. Just curious and thanks again!

Wish I could help you on that question. did not even realize the 25' Serenity came with a choice of FB or rear bed!!! None of us are over 6 feet tall so bed length is of no concern. PERHAPS the only advantage I can think of for the FB is that when you back into an RV space, odds are the fire pit and picnic table are closer to your entrance/kitchen door? The downside is that there are now extra steps to get stuff from your TV. I say flip a coin!

A great choice. The Serenity is a beautiful trailer, and you will love the twin beds. The 25' will allow you into almost all national and state park campgrounds.

Jealous!!! Same configuration we are trying to talk ourselves into... Never did any camping or such but now that we are retired I think we would have many years of enjoyment with it.

I believe if you have a front bedroom that leaves you with the dinette in back
With the right campsite it leaves you with an unobstructed view while lounging
or eating without having to unhook the TV. IMHO

The main difference between front and back beds seems to be in the sizes of the bathrooms-- the rear beds have bigger bathrooms than the front ones. There may also be a difference in windows between the two...I'm not sure!

Not Jealous, envious!!!! Its a tad softer. We too never did any camping but the 2 week trip we took in March with the rented AS and TV to Sequoia and Death Valley was SO worth the $6k it cost. Maybe you should try a rental trip or 2 first? The confusion continued after our trip as we saw so many 5th wheels and MOHO's at campsites, all very appealing to us. Bottom line is the AS is the best quality product (who wants to deal with inferior/headaches) and has the cool factor!

My TV is a Nissan Titan XD that the dealer is trying to locate for me as we speak. Trading in my Nissan Frontier. Shopped HARD for best TV truck and nothing compares IMHO. Then again I am a Nissan guy for 30 years!
