I got one!!
I brought her home Monday. 1991 31' Excella Classic. She is in need of some TLC and some work. The floor has two holes rotted thru in the front by the sofa/bed from a leak. The A/C needs some attention (not very cold). The skins are in great shape although the clearcoat is peeling. I think she looks great. My first order is to get the A/C fixed and shelter for her.

Hmmmmm, I have an idea for a great maiden voyage!!
Come on down to St. Pete for the rally in September at Fort Desoto and let us all see your new acquisition. But only if you get the air fixed first. It will be to hot without it.

Nice looking unit...where is the rot in the front? If it is about where the curve stops and the straight wall starts front and center, make sure you check the condtion of the main frame bolts...one of mine was missing and the other was wallowed out. So I basically had no stuctural rigidity, if I had continued to tow in that condition the trailer eventually would have self destructed....

Gary, nice looking setup you've got there! And welcome to the Forums.
The rot in the front area of my TT was caused by a leak in hole where one of the front running lights' power wire came thru the outer skin. The Vulkem around the wire had been disturbed in some way by the PO. Once the wire was moved, if broke the Vulkem seal around the wire. Water would pour in around that wire, run down onto the window frame, then down the wall into the U-channel at the base of the wall. From there, the U-channel would fill up and eventually drip onto the floor in several areas. Whereever there was a gap in the u-channel, the floor had rotted away.
Point is, leaks can come from many areas. I have my TT completely apart in the backyard/garage/etc so it is easy for me to trace and repair leaks. Good luck.
