View member's locations
Is there a way to view member's locations?
Another forum I am a member of has a map of the US and members can place a "pin" on their location on the map.
Do we have anything like that?

Very useful for people who don't know where states are situated & think California is on the east coast.

I think it's a GREAT idea!
It would be fun to be able to see who's in your area, or in an area you plan to visit, at a glance.

Colored Pins??
Just a thought, maybe the Powers That Be could utilize different colored or shaped pins.
Possible catagories:
Vintage Single Axel
Vintage Multi Axel
Newer Single Axel
Newer Multi Axes
Classic Motor Homes
Generation 2 MH's
Argosy
Help Sites

Agreed, that would be great for our big trip next year. Could you click on the pin and it would tell you who lives there? Of course I don't know HOW to do any of this, I just agree that it sounds cool! Lets not work Andy too hard, he takes such good care of us already

What would really be nice, but would take some code writing, would be to have everyone that is a member represented on a map (if possible). Perhaps large cities could be represented on maps of their own.
Then, everyone update their profile with accurate information. Those members that is willing to be called for help in an emergency situation, have a blue dot, those that just want to show where they're located a red dot.
Then, when you clicked on the blue dot, if you needed help in that area, it would take you to that person's profile with info on how to contact him/her (phone number). The red dot would also take you to that persons profile, but they're not who you would be trying to contact.

Forum Statistics
It would be nice if Forum Statistics could list the numbers of members by state distribution. I'm curious about that distribution. I suspect it would be heavily loaded with southern and sun belt states. I'd be curious if Ohio had a large contingent considering Airstream is located there.

Soooo sorry. California is a state of the United States. It's located on the nation's southern border to the north of New Mexico, where all those Mexicans live. (New Mexico magazine devotes its last page to incident after incident of just this kind!)
