Searching my posts

I have been trying to search my old posts to access some information but I don't seem to be able to find them unless I manually look for them. I tried to do a SEARCH>SEARCH FORUM (I tried both Show threads and show posts) typed in my user name MARCHESI and I only get 11 posts. I tried it several times and I can never find all of my posts. Any idea how I can do it?

Click on member list, find your name and then click on find under the post column. It only shows the last 5000 posts, but not a problem for most members. Don't know how to search the list, but at least it shows the location of your posts.

THanks Bill, that works! 5000 might be a problem, I am getting close to that limit ;-)

sometimes I use the google search. For example, if I'm trying to find a post I submitted on painting my interior, I type:

funkill + interior paint site:www.airforums.com

(shoot, that wasn't suppose to show as a hyperlink??? but I can't seem to remove it)

Of course, the absolute easiest way is to simply click on your name.

Up pops a menu and one of the choices is (wait for it): Find more posts by <username>

But of course, you all knew that already, right?

I think you win the price. That is by far the easiest way to find the posts and no, I didn't know. It actually took me a little while to find: Find more posts... after you mentioned it. I don't think the link is very obvious (I looked there previously).
