Disappearing Thread

Geeze, I posted in an existing thread regarding Regulator and Water Filter then the entire thread disappeared. What happened?

Is this the one?

http://www.airforums.com/forum...drip-1020.html

or something more recent? Like this one:

http://www.airforums.com/forum...tml#post331645

Sometimes we mods & admins will move posts to more appropriate headings.

FWIW, You can always find your posts if you click on your name in the left column> view public profile> then "find all posts" under "Forum info". Or using the advanced search feature...put in your UserID and a few key words ~

Neither one of those Shari. I can't remember who the original poster was but there were only 2 people who posted a response prior to mine. As soon as I clicked on submit, there was a delay and then the dreaded "cannot find server" materialized. I then looked over all the 80 posts active at the time and none of them were titled "Regulator and Water Filter". This thread was near the bottom on page 2 when I answered it.

Craig, I posted on that one, and don't see it either. I was gonna try to post a pic of the currently used regulator.

Is this the thread you all are looking for? If so apparently Craig's post went into a black internet hole

wahoonc, that's it! I did a search for regulator and filter and saw that it was started by safarijim. As I went back to alert Shari, you beat me to it. Thanks. Yes, my post is on the way to Mars as we speak.

Titan

Actually I think Titan would be the place needing regulators. With all those oceans of liquid methane!

Sure there are Airstreams on Mars. Boats too. Didn't you see the post on that boat hanging over the edge of one of the canals? Oh, wait a minute, that was somewhere here wasn't it?

I posted a question in the MH section on removing the genset and it only appears there, not on the latest postings, like normal. What gives?

There is a thread, seems to be started by you, and there is a reply, also by you. No other responses so far:

O_K. I refressed several times and it wasn't there. Then I closed down and restarted. There it was. Thanks, Terry.

At only 4.35 light years away, Alpha Centaurians think 'Happy Days' is an oldie. It will take them a few years to get their answer on this one -- not bad considering the question was asked almost five years ago by safarijim (sure looks alien, right?).

We've all seen the photo of Apollo 11 astronauts in the Airstream being welcomed back by Nixon, right? Jackson Center was at the forefront of space exploration ... at least if you believe the following pics. MoonStream shot by member amfab (take a look at the rest of his photo album!). MarsStream shot by member Porky Pig. So Craig, I'm sure these two hardy adventurers are double checking their regulators & water filters even as we speak!

Lightbulb Your posting not showing up as "new post or thread"?

Your own posts will not show up as "new posts" because if you posted it, you know what it says and it's not new to you. Once somebody adds to the thread or posts after you it will bump onto your list.

A lot of new folks will unknowingly post duplicates trying to see their posting...to view all recent posts, click on "Quick Links" > "Today's Posts" (in the blue bar above) and all posts will show up for the last 24 hours.
