Pros: Clean, big trails, nice lake, several pull throughs.
Cons: Some sites too steep, some gravel road travel,

Very clean and tidy. Its off the beaten track, a little tough to find if you are travelling at night. We really enjoyed it here, many people use the area to fish, hunt, boat, ride horses, orv trails.Yet the campground is not noisy and the quiet hours are enforced. We reserved our campsite online using reserve USA but when we arrived we found that our campsite was too steep for our 28 foot trailer. No problem, the host helped us get into a pull through. That's the only down side is that reserveusa should be informed about some of the sites being too steep for trailers.Lots of white quartz lying on the ground. An accessible trail around the campground is really nice. Lots of privacy in the campsites. We will camp again here in 2006.Attractions in Greensboro, Asheboro, Albemarle, and Seagrove are a bit of a drive but lovely scenery.Charlotte is longer drive, but worth it for some. The Zoo is very nice links above.
