50 + Spacious camp sites with a good deal of room between you and the campsites next to you. This campground is very quiet and relaxing. The entrance is just off a good, maintained and paved road. I espcially like this campground for being right next to the Escambia River. Very friendly people, Old South hospitality! Conviently located off Hwy 29, it's a good base camp for when traveling to the beaches, Naval Musuem, antique shopping and going to the casino. They host an Airstream Rally there every month!

Great people, very quiet in winter, inexpensive, welcomes pets
|
Cons:

Occasional road flooding during heavy downpours

One of my favorite places to stay - we try to stop at least once a year. Quiet in winter during the week, great people on weekends. Focus is on relaxation and camaraderie. Nothing very fancy, no showers, but adequate. 2 washers, 1 dryer. Great meeting hall & storm shelter.

This park is very quiet, to the point of being boring. Summers are very hot and the sites are not well shaded. There are cheaper state park camp grounds all through out this area, especially ones that are closer to Pensacola or right on the beach. If you are not attending during a rally weekend, expect the only ones there will be you and the camp host.

To those who are about to Stream-I salute you!

I would give this a 7 out of ten. It's very private, and dogs and cats are welcome. but wifi would be nice. And cable...

We stayed here for two nights. The park is real remote and quiet. We were the only ones in the park other than Carol, the campground host. We enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as the conversations with Carol. We will return in the future. For someone looking for amenities, this is not for them.
