This is a pretty but very underused campground about 10 miles from downtown Little Rock. Surrounded by water on 3 sides and with big trees at each widely-spaced, concrete paved, site; this is a great place to stay while visiting the area.
The campground hosts were super friendly and helpful in marking good restaurants and places on interest on the map for us.

Pros:
Great concrete pads, small park, very scenic along Arkansas River
Cons:
Lots of flying little bugs in summer
We camped there early July 2010. This is a very scenic small park with great level concrete pads. It is close to Little Rock where we biked along their great bike trails that go up and down the river with an awesome bike and pedestrian bridge (over 4000') long. We also visited the downtown where there are some great restaurants and there was a farmers market. Then off to the Clinton Library which was extremely interesting.
