Description: Well maintained, beautiful state park with 156 full hookup RV sites (water, sewer, electricity, cable). No wifi at sites. Tram ride or short 3/4 mile hike to the beach. Sites are hard surfaced and most are shady. Clubhouse, swimming pool, hiking trails, shuffleboards, cabin rentals. Canoeing, kayaking, geocaching, wildlife viewing, swimming and other activities. Showers and laundry are clean. Clubhouse and small camp store. Site of the January Canopener Airstream rally. One of the nicest state park campgrounds we've visited.

Pros: Quiet, well landscaped, well maintained.
Cons: No wifi. Pavement broken on some sites. No fire rings.

We attended Canopener Rally at Topsail in January 2012 and January 2013. Full hookups including cable. No wifi. Many amenities including hiking trails and beautiful white sand Gulf of Mexico beach. Lush vegetation. Wildlife. Nearby Destin and Santa Rosa beach have many shopping and eating venues. Walmart close to park entrance for supplies. Very friendly staff. Rangers conduct informative programs.

Pros: Good sized landscaped hard surfaced camping sites. Award winning facility.
Cons: This campground stays pretty full. Make reservations early.

Great place to stay. Very airy and open sites.

Pros: Convenience and cleanliness are tops.
Cons: None

Located on scenic 30A, there is something for everyone. We have camped there 5 times and find it consistently clean and well maintained. Great biking and hiking trails as well convenient beach access by bike or tram. Great restaurants and shopping on 30A. Cheapest way to vacation in that part of the world by far.

Pros: Beautiful beach
Cons:

One of our favorite campgrounds. Ride your bike to the beach or take the tram. Florida beaches are public, but since the beach is a couple of miles long by the park, it's like having a private beach just for the park. They also have rental "cabins" if you have visitors.
