Description:
|
Located on US-90 a couple miles outside Del Rio towards Lake Amistad. Seems like mostly full-timers, or at least Winter Texans. There's 3 Airstreams here right now.
They have nice facilities, including a laundry and bath area, a huge kitchen/dining area where they do pot luck on Fridays, a game room and they're very pet friendly.
Even though it's on the Hwy, it's very quiet, and you can see all the stars at night.
There's several other campgrounds in town, but this one is the safest feeling. There's several people full timing here who work in LE and everyone watches out for each other.
