Description:	Located just south of Lewiston, Idaho, Hells Gate State Park offers 91 sites, some of which accommodate up to 60' rigs. The campground offers some full hook-up sites and many with water and electric, plus some with no hookups. Both pull-thru and back-in sites available. There is a dump station located about one mile north of the campground. Open all year, reservations accepted. Some sites front on Snake River. 2011 rates for full hook-up or river sites $25.56 per night.

Pros:	Clean and a lot of things to do in the area. Fish, swim, Hells Canyon jet boat tours, etc
Cons:	Can be very hot in late summer

Nice park and it is easy to get in and out of. Lewis-Clark Discovery Center is at entrance of the park.
