Description:
|
The park borders southern Saskatchewan and Alberta. It is the highest point east of the Rockies, and is a unique eco-system -- a lodgepole pine forest surrounded by ranchland. Also it is a dark-sky preserve, which is perfect for amateur and professional astronomers. There are 14 campgrounds on the Saskatchewan side. Most of the campgrounds are well-treed except for the Meadows, which is mainly for big 5th wheels that cannot fit in the other spots. Throughout the campgrounds are private washrooms with a flush toilet and sink in each. There are full-service washrooms with showers in each campground as well.
