Description: Cultus Lake Provincial Campgrounds (3 interlinked) are beautiful. Most are dry camping (boon docking) but are nestled in the rain forest and very quiet. Great hiking, swimming areas. Town is nearby, and within 90 minutes of Vancouver, BC

Pros: Quiet, nestled in the West Coast rain forest, lake swimming/boating/fishing, great hiking/biking
Cons: Most are dry camping (boon docking) , reservations recommended

These are beautiful campgrounds nestled in the rain forest at the foot of the mountains. 90 minutes east of Vancouver, BC.

Large lake for swimming, fishing, boating. Great hiking and biking area. Sites are well maintained, security is evident through out the period we camped with park rangers very informative. This is a BC Provincial Camp Ground.

Cultus town is nearby, lots of fun things there for younger family members.

If you want to camp in a forest, enjoy quiet evenings by a fire, then this is a great place to unwind.

Note that cell service is hit and miss here.

The one we stayed at had no power to the trailers, water is available by the washrooms, and the washrooms include showers and are very clean and checked through out the day.

Parties are discouraged aggressively.

Make sure you have reservations as it fills up very quickly on weekends and through the summer.
