Pros: Clean showers/restrooms, nice sites, reservable on line
Cons: No playground, no 50 amp service, pay at dumpstation

This was a great stopover for us on our annual trip to North Carolina. Fuel is very well priced in Wytheville. Only 4 miles from I-77. The City of Wytheville is about 10 miles from the campground, there are great fuel spots, lots of restaurants and shopping.
The nature trail is nice. Very scenic drive. Large campsites, some have electric only, some electric/water, some sites have no services though all are paved. Showers are dated but clean. According to the campground host, sites with electric are usually available on a drive up basis, except for major summer holidays that is. 4.3 mile (one way) Seven Sisters Trail is nearby. The creek itself is stocked with brook trout, however this year was a drought so the ranger said they would not be able to stock the trout for next year (2008).
