Pros: Great park for fishing, swimming, boating
Cons: 20/30 amps only, no 50 amp service

This is a very family friendly park with a warm inland lake Muskallonge, and the lovely Great Lake Superior across the road. Nice boardwalk and stairs to beach on Lake Superior. Playground, showers, and restrooms are well maintained and clean. No 50 amp service, however, in cooler spring or fall one doesn't need the airconditioning, many shaded sites too. The waterfront sites are great, you can bring your boat and keep it near you. The descriptions of the campsites are accurate on the reservation system. This is a popular park, and near many interesting and lovely places in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Be sure to make reservations early if you want to come in July. We would come here again. Campground is paved. Muskallonge is a great beach for kids. Lake Superior is more fun for rock collecting, taking photos, kayaking, fishing, or just enjoying the scenery. If you aren't from hereabouts know this, Lake Superior is very cold year round so swimming with a diver/neoprene suit is probably your best bet.
